Nylon / Polyester Spandex
Stretch Direction & Fabric CHaracteristics
Fabric Characteristics
Nylon or polyester spandex fabrics combine synthetic yarn strength with elastane elasticity. The fabric stretches during movement and recovers close to its original shape, improving comfort, mobility and garment fit.
Stretch Direction
Widthwise stretch supports body fitting and comfort. 4-way stretch supports movement in both warp and weft directions. Actual stretch %, recovery, hand feel and dimensional stability depend on yarn, construction, spandex content, finishing and heat-setting.
Features
• Elastic recovery helps reduce bagging after repeated movement.
• Nylon spandex offers a soft hand and good abrasion resistance.
• Polyester spandex supports shape stability, quick drying and practical color consistency.
• Suitable for citywear, activewear, outdoor pants, uniforms and fitted garments.
